Britney Spears’ Orlando HOB Mishaps

Britney Spears had a tough time of it during her Orlando House of Blues weekend. The trouble started at the airport, carrying on during her sold-out show in the Sunshine State.

Exemplifying the diva within, rumor has it that Brit stormed off an airplane minutes before take-off because it didn’t have leather seats. According to Entertainmentwise reports, Spears’ little tantrum caused an hour delay to the flight from LA to Orlando after objecting to the seats on board.

"It was quite astonishing,” fellow passenger Tony Sanchez told News Of The World. “The doors had been closed for about ten minutes, everyone was strapped in and the plane was about to taxi to the runway when Britney got up and said she had to get off.”

“She just said ‘I don’t want to fly on this plane. It hasn’t got leather seats.’ I heard everything but most people were left wondering what was going on, so the captain was forced to make an apology to all the other passengers over the plane’s PA system.”

“It was quite a fiasco but she didn’t seem to care about anything except getting off that plane. All the passengers were furious,” Sanchez added.

Finally making it to her destination, Britney stumbled upon more problems during her Saturday night performance.

Several concert goers noted that Britney, who lip-synchs parts of her live concerts with prerecorded vocals, had the unfortunate accident of her CD skipping.

“This happened not just once. Not just twice. But four to five times! During her performance of Do Something,” Monster and Critics quotes a source, as saying. “Several people in the audience started booing. It was not pretty!” Contrary to the Monsters and Critics source, one of our fine readers in attendance claims the CD only skipped twice, with Britney handling it with class.

The problem was eventually fixed before moving on to the next song, just to encounter another mishap.

“She was rolling on the ground dancing and her face microphone broke and was hanging down at her neck… and she was embarrassed again!!! So she tried to push it back up and it went up to her forehead… and then back down to her chest.”

Hopefully things turn out better for Britney during her next scheduled performance in Miami.

I was at the concert, and the claim about the cd skippeng 4 to 5 times is just plain wrong.. It skipped two times.. Secondly, no one started booing when the cd skipped, in fact, britney smiled and laughed, and the audience knew that SHE knew the cd skipped, and every on laughed and cheered her on…

Also, if any one actually believes that Britney has NEVER lip-synced her songs, then they’re either not paying attention, or their just stupid.  How could it possibly be a surprise to anyone.  Besides, that’s what makes Britney “Britney”.. And I love her for it!
