Britney Spears Makes Waves With New Single
Could it be? Are we actually getting a release date for the new Britney Spears album? According to her label, Jive Records, the answer is ‘yes.’ And her new single is already hitting the airwaves.
“Gimme More” is the lead track from Brit’s new album, which will be released November 13th… just in time for Thanksgiving. The single was officially premiered last night on New York City radio station Z-100’s Website.
According to the Lucky singer’s label, “The track that leaked is off of Britney Spears’s forthcoming album. The song is “Gimme More,” produced by Danja, (and is) written by Nathaniel “Danjahands” Hills, James Washington, Keri Hilson, Marcella Araica.”
The peeps over at People report, “The song features the pop star’s signature breathy vocals, melodic electronic bleeps over a driving beat and a catchy hook that’s is true to the song’s title. Spears opens the sexy and sassy tune by defiantly saying, ‘It’s Britney, b---‘, and producer Hills ends it in a shout out, saying, ‘Bet you didn’t see this coming.’”
According to R&B powerhouse Ne-Yo, “(Britney has) gotta remind people why they love her in the first place. She’s gotta get their minds off her personal life and back on the music.” And this single sounds like it just may do the trick.
Tonight, you can catch the Toxic singer hosting the grand opening of LAX club in Sin City. There’s no word yet whether she’s planning on performing, but if you’ve ever seen this girl out and about, it’s always a performance.
