Britney Spears Hits Parked Car, Skips Interview

It looks like Lindsay Lohan is getting some company in the celebrity car crash category. Britney Spears recently struck a stationary object with her black Benz convertible.

According to X-17, Brit was on her way to the pharmacy (for more crazy pills?) when she collided with a parked car. She was attempting to park her Mercedes when the incident occurred.

The only passenger was her new puppy, a male Chihuahua. Neither Jayden James or Sean Preston were aboard for the collision.

And in other “Oops I Did It Again” news, once more Britney has screwed up a chance to look good in the media. According to Allure magazine’s editor in chief, Brit showed up for the cover shoot, but skipped out on the interview.

“I thought we could present the profile as her comeback. Britney showed up for Allure’s cover shoot on time and ready to work. She was entirely unselfconscious: She took off her wig and then stripped down to the waist, for no apparent reason, before sitting for hair and makeup.”

The editor also said that after the photo shoot, “that was the last we saw of her ... she missed four appointments for an interview. Britney has long lost her role-model status ... Spears still commands our attention, perhaps even more so now than before her life imploded.”
