Britney Spears Hit K-Fed With A Frying Pan
A September 14th court date has been set to determine whether or not the Britney Spears - Kevin Federline custody battle court records should be made public.
The “(You Drive Me) Crazy” singer has the editors at PEOPLE drooling over the idea of getting the inside scoop (leading them to file the motion for disclosure). If released, the documents will include testimony from recently subpoenaed ex-assistant Shannon Funk, ex-bodyguard Daimon Shippen, and current personal assistant Alli Sims.
Until then, all we have to go on is the typical hearsay. And, if any or all of the rumors are true, things are looking pretty grim for the troubled pop princess.
As Exhibit A, according to insiders, “Kevin (Federline) was going to use the frying pan, but Britney grabbed it and hit him with it when he turned his back. He grabbed the pan out of her hand and walked away, but she hurled an ashtray at him.” The kicker is, apparently this whole fiasco was caught on surveillance tape… and we can only hope that it gets released.
For Exhibit B, a Star magazine source close to the investigation claims, “He (Federline) and his Beverly Hills attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, have obtained sworn affidavits from three former Spears employees — a nanny and two bodyguards — detailing horrific examples of Brit’s lack of parenting skills.”
“What those affidavits allegedly reveal about Britney and how she treats Sean Preston, 23 months, and Jayden James, 11 months — including ranting ‘You were both mistakes!’ at the tots — are shocking and disturbing and they could prove to be the straw that shifts custody to Kevin!”
