Britney Spears Has A Friend In Joey Fatone

Back when she was dating then ‘N Syncer Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears formed a close friendship with one of his fellow pop mates, Joey Fatone.

And with all of her recent legal trouble, Joey found it appropriate to offer the troubled pop tart a helping hand - but it remains doubtful whether Ms Spears will accept Fatone’s goodwill.

Apparently, Fatone spoke to press after what he “admitted was an ill-advised performance at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month.”

And Fatone has now offered the Gimme More singer sanctuary at his Florida home, so she can “recuperate out of the spotlight.”

Fatone told press, “Poor girl, she needs some help. Come over to my house and my wife’ll whip her into shape. Come back to Orlando and take a break for awhile, from LA and stuff.”
