Britney Spears Goes Shopping For The Boys

Britney Spears was spotted out yesterday (October 25) visiting Los Angeles children’s shop Swings N’ Things.

Wearing a white dress, cowgirl boots and oversized sunglasses, the Gimme More singer headed straight to the office, pointed at a toy she wanted in a brochure, and then headed back to her Hollywood Hills home.

The troubled pop tart recently got out of a misdemeanor hit-and-run charge, after it was dismissed in a California court yesterday.

According to reports, “Spears impressed the vehicle’s owner Kim Robard-Rifkin by offering a personal apology and $1,000 in compensation, which caused the charges to be dismissed in a Van Nuys court.”

Brit’s legal representative J. Michael Flanagan said that the owner of the damaged car, Robard-Rifkin, “is very sympathetic toward Britney and hopes the best for her.”

And while this comes as good news, Spears still must appear in court on November 26th to face charges of driving without a valid California driver’s license - which stems from the same incident.
