Britney Spears Gets Some Retail Therapy, Court Date

With a new single on the way and an album due out by year’s end (December 2nd), Britney Spears is all about finding the right clothes to make her look hot.

And the “Gimme More” songstress was spotted combing the racks at Calypso boutique in Los Angeles yesterday (September 18) looking cute and casual in a grey tank top with jeans and chunky heels.

Just when we thought her court drama was over, though, it sounds like Brit Brit may be back in court on October 15th. This time it’s over her charge for driving with an invalid driver’s license.

But Spears’ attorney Michael Flanagan told press he’s not too worried. “Ninety percent of my experience in court [with this charge] is, once you get the license corrected, they dismiss the case. If you don’t, it’s a $321 fine. Neither option has been given to Britney. This girl has come a long way in the last year, she’s a solid citizen. Let’s treat her as normal.”
