Britney Spears Gets Her Car Towed

When you think of celebrity cars, you think of buffed, polished luxury vehicles that are impeccably clean and looking sharp. But Britney Spears’ Mercedes Benz is getting the tow truck treatment.

Last night, the “Piece of Me” singer’s festivities were snagged by a flat tire on super-busy Sunset Boulevard, so she just left her car on the side of the road. And that’s a big no-no.

Reportedly, Spears was driving through Brentwood, California when her tire blew out. She drove over two miles on the flat before pulling over and abandoning the vehicle entirely. Shortly thereafter, it was towed due to the fact that it was “blocking the roadway.”

From there, the “Gimme More” singer and her assistant caught a ride with one of the many paparazzi that were following her and went back to her Beverly Hills pad. Minutes later, she emerged in another car, en route to the Bev Hills Four Seasons.

Britney will have to pay a $104 towing fee, in addition to a $32/day storage fee for up to thirty days, after which her car will be auctioned off.
