Britney Spears Feuding With Hospitalized Mom?

In a not-so-pleasant post-Mother’s Day report, rumor has it that Britney Spears’ relationship with her mother has been deteriorating to the point that the two are no longer speaking - with a hospital snub to boot!

Not all that long ago, Britney had a tremendous relationship with her mother, Lynne Spears. The two co-wrote a book together and Britney even referred to Lynne as her best friend. All of the love seems to have vanished, as Brit is so furious with her that she refused to visit her own mom in the hospital on Mother’s Day, according to several reports.

“Britney has cut off all communication with her mom,” MSNBC quoted a friend, as saying. “She’s gone from calling Lynne ten times a day to flat-out refusing to speak to her.”

The reason for all of the drama? The forced rehab stint, of course. For the same reasons that she fired her manager, Larry Rudolph, Britney is hollding a grudge against her own mama.

According to MSNBC, “Lynne, 52, was hospitalized in southern California recently when a bout of the flu turned into pneumonia. Spears reportedly is furious with her mother for urging the “Oops I Did It Again” singer to enter rehab, and didn’t call her earlier this month for her birthday, either.”

“Britney says her mom betrayed her and she refuses to get over it,” the source added. “When she was told to give her mom a call, Britney said: ‘I’m busy, I have my own kids now.’ ”

Whether the two can mend their differences is a matter of time - hopefully everything turns out for the best.
