Britney Spears’ Father Gets a Salary Boost
It has been a long road to recovery and redemption for Britney Spears, and thanks to the help of her father, she’s back on track. And now Jamie Spears is getting a raise for his hard work.
The “Gimme More” songstress’ father has been on the payroll as her co-conservator since February, and yesterday the Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner raised his salary to about $75 an hour.
In addition, the Spears family patriarch was also granted an additional $1,200 a month for any office-related expenses. Combined with his new $16,000-a-month paycheck, that’s a tidy sum for looking after his daughter’s affairs.
Then again, given the fact that her new album Circus recently debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts, it seems Brit Brit can afford it./p>
