Britney Spears Engagement Rumors

As if there aren’t enough rumors going around about Britney Spears… this time she’s stirring up the gossip mill by wearing a bit of bling on a very meaningful finger.

That’s right, the “Gimme More” singer is sporting what appears to be an engagement ring on her left-hand ring finger. Perhaps she has an underground romance that she’s keeping below the radar.

Yesterday, the troubled pop star was spotted out on the town with a girlfriend, grabbing a meal at a local Mexican restaurant and heading over to a recording studio afterwards.

The 25-year-old is set to release her “comeback” album this November, but she’ll have to pull some rabbits out of hats to get back to her previous level of success. But who knows? Maybe after all of the crap she’s endured (and created for herself) over the past year, she’ll end 2007 with a killer career boost.
