Britney Spears’ Dental Emergency

Britney Spears visited a Los Angeles area hospital the evening of March 25, setting off a paparazzi frenzy that was so intense the police were called in. While some tabloids were reporting a serious incidence, it was apparently only a tooth-related issue.

ET has reported that Britney walked into the emergency room, where she stayed for over an hour, and then left.

The former hit-maker visited the Century City Medical Plaza following a dental accident in which she allegedly broke one of her pearly whites.

A Plaza employee told Us Weekly, “She was smiling for the cameras, but the moment she got into the elevators she was complaining to her bodyguards that it was unfair her tooth was broken, but she couldn’t take painkillers.”

Less than a week ago, Spears checked out of rehab after nearly a month at Promises residential treatment center in Malibu, CA. Since leaving, Britney has been keeping a rather low profile… especially for her. This weekend was actually the first time Britney was seen by anyone other than her two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, and her ex-hubby Kevin Federline.

Slowly making her way back onto the scene, “On Friday March 23, she was seen in public for the first time taking a one hour hip-hop dance class at North Hollywood’s Millennium Dance Complex and enjoying dinner at Bel Air’s SHU-Sushi House Unico with three girlfriends,” according to PR Insider sources.

The following day, “She took another dance class at the Millennium and also visited a hair salon, despite having shaved her head a month ago.”

On a good note, the Millennium Dance Complex instructor who ran the class, Darren Henning, told People magazine that Britney was in good shape, adding she looked “fantastic”.
