Wednesday, October 24, 2007 Britney Spears’ Custody Circus
While divorce can be extremely messy, custody battles are usually even worse. And that’s the case with Britney Spears and Kevin Federline’s struggle over who gets their two sons. Jayden James and Sean Preston Federline are starting off life in a rough predicament. Daddy and Grandma and Grandpa (K-Fed, Lynne and James Spears, respectively) were busy holding crisis talks with Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan yesterday, and Mommy (Britney) was off shopping instead. Perhaps she was trying a little retail therapy to help her forget the damaging report being written by the court-appointed monitor that supervised Brit’s visit with her sons. Rumor has it, the report isn’t looking too good for the “Gimme More” singer.
An insider told press, “[Spears, 25] paid her [monitor] no attention or respect at all, as if she were some employee whom she could blow off. Britney’s often distracted and in her own world when she has the kids, and has a hard time focusing. She is adamant that she doesn’t have to listen to anybody — that it’s her way or the highway. This is a very damning report.”
Enjoy the pictures of Britney spending time with the boys yesterday afternoon (October 23).
