Britney Spears Cries Over Legal Troubles
While she spent yesterday out shopping with son Sean Preston, Britney Spears was preoccupied with the legal system today (September 21).
The Gimme More singer was spotted getting quite emotional on her way into a Los Angeles area doctor’s office on Wilshire Boulevard. It has been assumed that the trip was for the first of her many court ordered drug tests.
Also on the agenda, a trip to the lawyers’ office. “She pulled up in the car, and then suddenly tears started streaming down her face,” one eyewitness told OK! magazine.
And according to paperwork filed today, the troubled pop tart has added another legal woe to her law team’s already hectic schedule. Back in early August, Gossip Girls reported that Brit got into a parking lot fender bender. As a result, Spears has been charged with with one count of hit-and-run causing property damage and one count of driving without a valid California license.
These charges carry up to six months in jail, but in Hollywood terms, that would be about 2 hours or so.
Whether her hit and run incident will have any impact on her child custody battle with Kevin Federline remains to be seen, but count on Gossip Girls to bring you the latest.
