Britney Spears’ Courtroom Drama Continues
If she hopes to regain any semblance of custody of her two sons, Jayden James,1, and Sean Preston, 2, Britney Spears will have to show up in court later on today.
Reportedly, a judge is expected to grill the “Gimme More” singer regarding her unsettling temper tantrum last week, hoping to ascertain her fitness, or lack thereof, to care for her kids. Currently, her babydaddy Kevin Federline has full custody of the two boys.
K-Fed’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, expressed his doubtfulness that Spears will even show up. “You can’t phone this one in. She will have ... to persuade the court that she can have some visitation.”
A legal expert told press that Brit will have “virtually no chance” of regaining custody of her kids if she blows off her court date today. And divorce lawyer Sue Moss said that Spears has her work cut out for her. “She needs to show the judge that ... the kids will be safe.”
