Britney Spears Conservatorship Case Stunted
Though she’s doing well on her road to recovery, it’s very important that Britney Spears not bite off more than she can chew. And according to her lawyer, she’s not healthy enough for court proceedings.
Samuel Ingham told Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz, “Because of changes in her treatment, it would not be appropriate and could be harmful for her to participate in court proceedings.”
His assertion was met with approval with Goetz adding that the “Gimme More” singer’s doctor had made a “differential diagnosis and wants to do additional testing in the not-distant future. She can’t participate in any meaningful way in any court proceedings.”
What does this mean for her conservatorship case then? Brit’s father Jamie is currently her co-conservator but his term, unless extended, will expire on July 31st.
