Britney Spears: Back Home for New Year’s

Doing her part to boost the economy in 2009, Britney Spears was spotted doing some shopping at Wal-Mart near her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana yesterday (January 1).

The “Gimme More” songstress was accompanied by an unidentified man and her bodyguard as she made her way inside the massive superstore, looking dressy and carrying a beverage.

The day before, Brit Brit was seen satisfying her appetite with a trip to a local Sonic fast food restaurant along with her super-attentive bodyguard.

Miss Spears has been in town for her brother Bryan’s wedding- he married sister Jamie Lynn’s manager Graciella Sanchez on New Year’s Eve.
