Britney Spears and the Blond-Wigged Body Doubles
There was plenty of Britney Spears to go around last night, as the pop tart and numerous body doubles took to Los Angeles restaurant and nightclub Social Hollywood to shoot the music video for “Piece of Me”.
Wearing identical blond bob wigs and black trench coats, the gang filmed takes while piling in and out of a silver Mercedes SUV.
A People magazine source told of the premise behind the many Britney’s, “The paparazzi are following [Britney], so they’re dressed alike to trick them. They all go into a club to get away. One [photographer] sneaks in, but Britney, in the end, discovers him.”
Meanwhile, the Britney look-alikes weren’t all that thrilled with Ms Spears, as she reportedly showed up 12 hours late - arriving at 8:35pm instead of the planned morning meetup.
“I’ve been there since 3 p.m. and have not shot a thing!” one dancer told Us magazine, adding, “I finally finagled my way out. It’s all very unorganized. They are calling in more people for late night.”
Directed by Wayne Isham, who was in charge of Britney’s “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman” video, “Piece of Me” becomes the second planned music television release off of her latest album, Blackout.
