Britney Spears and Benji Madden: Not a Couple
Putting an end to recent rumors of a possible new coupling up, Britney Spears and Benji Madden are definitely not settling into a relationship.
The rumors all started when In Touch magazine reported that the 29-year-old rocker, who recently split with Paris Hilton, has been hooking up with the 27-year-old “Gimme More” singer.
“The claims made by In Touch are completely false,” Spears’ rep, Holly Shakoor, tells E! News. “There is not an ounce of truth to any of it.”
In Touch had alleged that Brit’s people were on the hunt for a possible new beau as she makes her comeback - with potential suitors including Chace Crawford, Jesse Metcalfe, Michael Phelps and Benji.
“Larry made phone calls, and Benji ended up being the most interested in being fixed up,” In Touch reported. “He plans to make a big, splashy announcement to help publicize her tour.”
