Britney Spears’ $61 Million Debacle

It’s hard to believe that we’ve been watching Britney Spears’ life unravel for so long. And the latest estimation of what her crazy life has cost her has been said to be around $61 million dollars.

A source close to her family told press, “It’s staggering how much money has been used up since February 2007.” Let’s take a look.

The “Gimme More” singer lost custody of her two children to Kevin Federline before being admitted to a psychiatric ward earlier this year. And it has led to her having to spend massive amounts of money on legal bills and psychiatric care.

In addition, independent accountant Robert Bianchi has gone on record as saying that she lost out on at least $50 million by failing to properly promote and tour for her “Blackout” album.

Although she’s been a spendthrift in the past, now that her father is in control of her finances, things are finally looking positive. A source told press, “It’s been quite a challenge getting things under control. But now she’s spending about a fifth of what she used to.”

As for the upcoming Mother’s Day holiday, Britney is hopeful that she’ll get to be with her boys. And K-Fed is said to be considering it, though, “He hasn’t officially said yes yet.”
