Britney Deals With News of Sister’s Pregnancy

With all of the shock and awe surrounding the announcement of Jamie-Lynn Spears’ pregnancy, you may be wondering, ‘How is Britney dealing with it?’ She’s going shopping.

The “Sometimes” singer was spotted on a late-night shopping spree at the Lisa Kline boutique in Los Angeles last night.

And after she was done with her retail therapy, Brit headed over to the L’Ermitag Hotel to check in for the night. With all of her hotel staying this year, you gotta wonder why she even owns a house!

Reportedly, the “Piece of Me” singer found out at the same time as the rest of the world that her kid sister was expecting. And according to an insider, the news was hard to take.

One pal told press, “This is going to kill her. In the end, she’ll be supportive, but this is a big shock.”

Perhaps the reason for Brit’s lack of knowledge on the subject was due to the fact that Jamie-Lynn’s advisors have been trying to keep her disassociated from her. “Britney doesn’t have to listen to anyone now but her sister still does so who knows what people are telling her,” says a source. “She has her career now too.”
