Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston: Breakup Details
A few months after they welcomed their beautiful baby boy Tripp into the world, Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston have decided to part ways.
According to a source close to the couple, the split happened “a few weeks ago. It was a mutual thing. I’m not sure what caused them to break up.” Another source added, “Bristol’s doing okay. Tripp is fine.”
Prior to calling it quits on their relationship, Bristol and Levi had made plans to get married after high school and raise their son together as a family.
Trying to put some distance between herself and the breakup, Bristol spent some time in Juneau, Alaska where her mother, ex-Vice Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin, has been spending the winter during the legislative session.
The 18-year-old recently released a statement, saying, “Unfortunately, my family has seen many people say and do many things to ‘cash in’ on the Palin name. Sometimes that greed clouds good judgment and the truth.”
