Brangelina’s Schoolhouse Frenzy
When your parents are Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, it’s hard to get dropped off at school without some kind of fiasco. And Maddox Jolie-Pitt’s principal has taken action to prevent the famous family from facing a daily publicity scene.
The Director of Operations at the Lycee Francais, Dan Cooke, has issued a letter to the parents of the students there. In it, he says, “Regretfully, I have seen some parents taking pictures, asking for autographs, talking to the media and even shouting at Ms. Jolie and Mr. Pitt for recognition. Therefore, in the interests of the school and safety of your children I must ask for everyone to please respect the family’s privacy and discontinue these practices.”
Cooke continued, “I want to make you aware that before the first day of school I met with Ms. Angelina Jolie and Mr. Brad Pitt’s security team to discuss the best manner in which for them to drop off and pick up their son. Our foremost goal was to cause the least amount of disruption to the school and to ensure the security of all of our students and families.”
So if you were planning on showing up in NYC to catch either Mr. or Mrs. Smith on their way to drop off their son, you’d be best advised to think again.
