Blake Lively and Friends Check Out DVF Show
Getting in their fill of fashionable fun, the stars of Hollywood took to the Diane von Furstenberg show in New York City on Sunday (September 13).
Held at the tents of Bryant Park, Blake Lively sat alongside a group of friends as they intently watched the catwalk while eyeing the famous designer’s newest looks.
Also in the house was Blake’s fellow CW star, Shenae Grimes, who has been a regular at the fashion week festivities over the past few days.
Talking about the semi-annual fashion week shows, an insider revealed that, while they garner attention, the productions are far from lucrative.
“[Traditional] runway shows are not lucrative,” said Gold, whose tour chugs out of L.A.’s Union Station on Nov. 3, hits the Seattle runway Nov. 7 and wraps up in Las Vegas a month later. “You get press, but there’s absolutely no proven metrics that show press translates into sales of your garments. So I decided I was going to do shows where the people who are actually buying my clothes are invited, and they can come and buy it right there.”
