Beyonce Knowles: NAACP Image Awards Winner

Last night (February 12) the Shrine Auditorium was overflowing with fabulous people as the 2009 NAACP Image Awards took over the venue.

And Beyonce Knowles was one of the night’s biggest stars- she took home the trophy for Outstanding Female Artist, joining Jamie Foxx who won the Outstanding Male Artist honors.

In addition, the “Crazy in Love” songstress also treated the audience to a fantastic live performance, as she worked the stage in a black and white beaded gown.

Coming as little surprise, both Rihanna and Chris Brown were absent from the night’s festivities, both of whom were up for awards.
