Beyonce Knowles AKA Etta James

Over in the West Village of New York City’s Manhattan borough, the paparazzi caught up with Beyonce Knowles and her boy Jay-Z as they were leaving Bar Pitti yesterday.

And apparently someone tipped off the rest of the city, as fans were anxiously awaiting the exit of the two superstars. Graciously, the hip-hop power couple greeted their awaiting admirers as they made their way out.

And it sounds like the “Bootylicious” singer has been bit by the acting bug again. A source told press that Beyonce has signed on to appear as soul singer Etta James in the new film “Cadillac Records.”

Joining the Destiny’s Child singer on the project is none other than Adrian Brody, as well as a few yet-unannounced stars. Reportedly the film’s producers are still looking to cast the roles of Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters.
