Beyonce Braves The Cold At Premiere

Beyonce braved freezing temperatures to show off her reknowned figure, wearing a strapless dress at the London premiere of Dreamgirls on Sunday, January 22nd.

The singer-and-actress dazzled on the red carpet in a glowing, sequinned gown put together by top fashion designer Elie Saab.

However, Beyonce admitted that she was not planning on wearing the revealing outfit all night. This was a good idea, as the temperature in London’s Leicester Square plummeted towards zero. It was actually surprising that she wore the outfit even for the brief amount of time which she did.

Meanwhile, she said: “I’m not wearing it for long, but it’s worth the pain.”

She also admitted that she is hoping for Oscar success in the wake of the film’s threesome of awards at the recent Golden Globes.

She added: “I can’t wait to hear what’s going to happen with the Oscars.”

Beyoncé was joined on the red carpet by her movie co-star Jennifer Hudson, who scooped a Best Supporting Actress award at the Golden Globes. Also present were David Gest and Don Johnson, the former star of the ‘Miami Vice’ TV series.

In the movie, which is based on the remarkable rise to success of The Supremes, Beyoncé plays Deena Jones, who was inspired by the girl group’s lead singer Diana Ross.

Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy and Danny Glover also star in the movie.

Check out a Beyonce favorite today, such as Austin Powers in Goldmember.
