Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner: Back to LA

What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than with a family outing on the town? That’s exactly what Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner found themselves doing yesterday (January 12).

The family, who are just back in Los Angeles after a 4-month stay in New York City, went back to their normal routine by taking daughter Violet for coffee at City Bakery and shopping at Toy Crazy.

As mentioned above, Jen and Ben are returning from a trip to the Big Apple so that Miss Garner could perform in the Broadway production Cyrano de Bergerac.

Despite a 19-day strike which interrupted the scheduled performances, “the Broadway revival recouped its $3.5 million capitalization cost in its eighth week on the boards,” according to the show’s producers.

Continuing to speak of Garner’s show’s success, a recently released report tells: “ (Cyrano) spent the final five weeks of its just-ended run grossing more than $900,000 per week - musical-sized numbers only achieved by rare straight-play mega-hits such as The Odd Couple and Three Days of Rain.”
