Beckhams Get Booed

There’s nothing like a mob of obscene paparazzi to really set the mood for a romantic night. Just ask David and Victoria Beckham. Their dinner last night had all the hallmarks of a memorable evening.

The scene was Mastro’s, a high-class steakhouse in Beverly Hills. Posh and Becks arrived after 9pm for a romantic night out in their new country of residence. Unfortunately a few rude photographers got out of hand.

When dinner was over, about 35 paparazzi were clamoring to get shots of the British imports as they exited. To the dismay of the paps, Becks’ security positioned cars in such a way as to prevent the photographers from getting a good shot. Then the rudeness ensued.

The paparazzi shouted some choice remarks including, “Go back to England you motherf***er,” “Nobody cares about soccer here,” and the zinger “Your wife has no talent.” Stay classy, America!

As a reaction to the madness, David got pretty fired up. According to a source, “This led David, who was in the driver’s seat, to aggressively accelerate his Escalade and at one point and a paparazzo was almost hit.”

Looks like some retail therapy is in order. Speaking of which, Posh and Becks have been seen lately spending up some of David’s $250 million paycheck at Barneys as well as other high-end retailers.
