Barron Hilton Freed On Bail

As a follow-up to the Gossip Girls story about Barron Hilton’s DUI arrest yesterday, reportedly he is currently free on bail.

The 18-year-old brother of Paris and Nicky Hilton was sprung from jail by his friends.  Apparently neither Paris, nor the Parents Hilton were willing to help him out.

And it’s expensive to be a friend of Barron’s.  According to a source, it cost Hilton’s friends all of $20,000 to free him from the slammer.

Once free, Barron left the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station in Malibu and was transported away in a waiting SUV.  He’ll face charges of DUI and carrying a fake driver’s license at a later date.

Evidently Paris is the only Hilton (or maybe it’s just the girls, let’s see what happens if/when Nicky screws up) that Mommy and Daddy are willing to bail out. Or is it just that the baby boy isn’t famous enough yet for Mommy to run in.

Letting him stew in a jail for a while was the best thing for him. Maybe it will scare him enough not to do it again.

With Paris, she really got an unfair deal. She blew 0.08 which is exactly the legal limit in California, and she should not have been arrested in the first place.
