Avril Lavigne’s Divorce Details

Their decision to part ways was announced earlier this week, and now new details have emerged as to why Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley are calling it quits.

A source close to the couple - who wed in July 2006 – revealed that the “Sk8ter Boi” songstress feels she married too young.

According to People, the source added they are no longer living together in their Bel Air home. “Deryck has left the house,” says the source, but “wasn’t kicked out.”

Moreover, Ms Lavigne recently posted a statement on her website reading, “I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship.”
