Avril Lavigne Calls In Sick
It’s hard to believe that our favorite Canadian punk princess is all grown up and married. And Avril Lavigne was spotted doing her domestic duty yesterday.
The “Girlfriend” songstress was seen grocery shopping with a gal pal at Bristol Farms in West Hollywood sporting a pair of black polka-dotted shorts and an emo zip-up hoodie.
And it sounds like she may have had some throat spray in her grocery bag- Avril recently cancelled two concerts at the advice of her doctor because of vocal problems.
She blogged, “I have been sick this whole tour, and now I have lost my voice. I have never canceled a show in my whole career and just had to for the first time ever. This sux!”
She continued, My voice is so shot. We drove home yesterday and I went to my throat doctor. He stuck a camera down my throat....ewwww, I gagged!!! It was kinda funny though.”
Avril is expected to return to the stage tonight for her regularly scheduled tour stop in Anaheim, California.
