Ashley Tisdale: “Blondes Aren’t Dumb”

Wearing her blonde locks up in a ponytail, Ashley Tisdale ventured out in Toluca Lake on Sunday - eating breakfast at Chez Nous with her sister before making her way to the recording studio with her mother.

The radiant young actress, known for her role as Sharpay in the hit Disney show High School Musical, was originally a brunette - but credits getting her big break to changing her hair color to its current blonde shade.

Tisdale revealed in an interview: “It suits my personality. I guess I was a brunette with a blonde personality. I have been blonde for a while now.”

The 22-year-old added: “At first it was really shocking and I didn’t know what to think, it felt like another person in the mirror. But now I am comfortable with it. But blondes aren’t dumb. I am smart and I don’t think all of us are ditzy.”
