Ashley Olsen Checks Out CFDA Awards

She always seems to have her finger on the pulse of the fashion industry, and last night (June 15) Ashley Olsen glammed up the 2009 CFDA Fashion Awards.

The “Full House” hottie was turning heads all over Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in her beautiful reddish-orange retro-style dress.

Over the weekend, Ashley and her twin sister Mary Kate celebrated their 23rd birthday along with friends and family.

And it seems that Miss Olsen will be working exclusively on her fashion career and hanging up her acting hat.  “I’ve been transitioning from acting as a kid to doing something that I’m choosing for myself — to be part of the fashion industry. That’s what I want for my future. It has nothing to do with my past, nothing to do with anyone else’s agenda. And I followed my heart the whole way.”
