Ashlee Simpson Settles For A Neptune

Coming off of a recent break-up, Ashlee Simpson has been rumored to be out on the town, hitting on musicians and actors alike.

Ashlee recently split from Fall Out Boy bassist and Rolling Stone coverboy Pete Wentz, so she decided to spend Saturday night at LA’s club Les Deux, looking for a new man. A seemingly successful Simpson ending up leaving with Neptunes star Chad Hugo.

A source told the NY Post: “She tried to pick up Ryan Phillipe, but he wasn’t interested. So then she hung out with Chad all night and left with him.”

However, Ashlee’s representative has denied the reports, saying: “That is not true. She is working with Chad on her new album. There is nothing romantic going on.”

In a recent interview, Ashlee confessed that she is obsessed with rock musicians.

She said: “I love guys that play guitar. Every girl does. But I also like guys who have a great sense of humor and don’t take themselves too seriously.”

Then she’s probably lucky that Ryan Phillipe wasn’t interested… huh?
