Ashlee Simpson: Mixin’ It Up With The Cure
Talk about an unlikely duo, The Cure’s Robert Smith has been speaking of a possible collaborative effort with Ashlee Simpson.
When news of the possible Simpson-Smith effort fist broke, Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz denied any involvement in putting the pair together, even though he’s friends with Smith and dating Simpson.
Wentz claimed: “I doubt I had anything to do with it, ‘cause they were friends since she was performing in Chicago. But I definitely only have good things to say about Ash - I think the collaboration could be great.”
And while it may not happen this year, it does seem imminent that the two will be working together in the future.
“I would be hugely surprised if I end up working with Ashlee this year, but I haven’t ruled it out,” he said. “I went to see her in Chicago… I was impressed. The fact is, when she got onstage and sang she was really good.”
Enjoy the pictures of Ashlee out on July 21. While she’s rumored to be pregnant, it sure doesn’t look like it at this point.
