Another Really Bad Night For Britney Spears

You know that feeling you get when you look in your rear view mirror and see red and blue lights flashing? Yep, Britney Spears experienced it last night, when she was pulled over by LAPD for speeding.

Police pulled Spears over in her white Mercedes Benz convertible coupe last night after she was observed exceeding the speed limit. And from the looks of the pictures, she wasn’t too thrilled to be getting served by Los Angeles’ finest.

But it doesn’t stop there. This morning, a representative from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals paid the Lucky girl a visit. It seems that there have been reports that she’s mistreating her Yorkshire Terrier.

The SPCA rep told press, “We have received various sources of complaints throughout the day. Some said that Britney’s Yorkie dog was injured and had a cast on and some said the dog had a broken leg and was not treated. After the calls started pouring in, we did go to Britney’s house but were just able to leave a note with the housekeeper. The matter is not if the dog had an accident, but if the dog is getting proper care.”

At this point, the old adage, “Any press is good press” has expired for Britney.
