Anne Hathaway’s Passion For Politics
On-hand at the Democratic National Convention on Monday night, actress Anne Hathaway told press that she wasn’t sure how she first felt about presidential candidate Barack Obama - revealing that she was hesitant to trust Obama because she had placed her trust into other candidates and been let down before.
“I’ve been burned by politicians before that I wanted to believe in and just didn’t live up to it,” the newly single star explained. “And I was afraid to trust him and I was afraid to have hope when I first kind of became aware of him.”
It was Obama’s speech on race that swayed the Get Smart actress’ opinion, as she tells: “I just said, ‘I can’t deny how I feel about you, Barack Obama. I want you to be the president. I want you in the White House,’ I just heard the other day, he just paid off his student loans two years ago. And so when people talk about financial issues and the higher cost of education, he really gets it. I think he’s the sort of person that inspires us all to be our best selves.”
Hathaway went on to explain that most people feel that there is a perception that “we’re all out of touch. How could we possibly have an awareness of what real Americans feel and think and need because we just ride around in limos and - I don’t know - buy diamonds all day long?”
“But I don’t know anyone like that,” Hathaway told. “I’m certainly not like that. I’m a passionate American, and that’s what I am first and foremost.”

neil diamonds are them in limbo about religion,lost in a relationship or just like anything that glitters.Like Gary.Really not everthing glitter is gold.And what gets us around makes alot of sense to.But definetly in Hollyweird,because you should know when its time to get up stand up stand up for your rights!
