Anne Hathaway Takes the Stage for “Twelfth Night”

Kicking off Shakespeare in the Park, Anne Hathaway took the stage for a free showing of “Twelfth Night” in New York City on Thursday (June 25).

In the show, Miss Hathaway plays Viola, described as “a young woman who dresses up as a young man so that she can work for Orsino (Raul Esparza), the duke who is in love with mournful Lady Olivia (Audra McDonald), who in turn falls in love with the cross-dressing Viola.”

Putting on a well-received performance, Anne was described as “energetic” and fun” during the show, proudly offering a bow and waving to the audience during the show’s curtain call.

Once finished up on-stage, the “Bride Wars” beauty changed into a sexy gold ensemble, attending a big afterparty and press greeting session that lasted into the night.
