Anne Hathaway Helps To Honor Meryl Streep
Anne Hathaway sported a sleek look at The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation’s “A Magical Evening” Gala at New York City’s Marriot Marquis Hotel last night.
Wearing a purple dress, Anne, who was also celebrating her 25th birthday yesterday, was there to present the foundation’s Dana Reeve Hope Award to her Devil Wears Prada co-star, Meryl Streep.
"My good friend Meryl is here. And when she asked me to present (to) her, I said yes 10 times over,” Anne told press at the event.
Ms Hathaway was then asked if she had a magical power, what would it be? Anne replied, to “figure out a good exit strategy from Iraq.”
When asked the same question, comedian Robin Williams put a humorous spin on his answer, telling that he would increase people’s intelligence levels. “Everybody gets 30 IQ points (added). We’re only one species, and we don’t want to bottom out,” he said.
