Anne Hathaway: Back in Action
She’s been keeping things pretty low-key ever since her now-ex boyfriend Raffaello Rollieri was incarcerated for fraud and money laundering. But yesterday Anne Hathaway emerged in Los Angeles to the delight of the paparazzi.
The “Princess Diaries” babe cracked a slight smile as she made her way out of a West Hollywood office building, toting a garment bag under her arm. Perhaps the “Get Smart” hottie was lining up her next big role.
Speaking of movie roles, Anne recently told press that her success in the film industry has been a bit of a surprise for her. “I didn’t ever think I’d have a movie career, I always thought I’d be a theatre actress and so just the idea now that I’ve gotten to play so many different roles, I’m really having a blast doing that.”
And she said that she keeps things interesting by taking chances with the scripts she selects. “My general broad thing that I look for when I’m choosing a role is I like to be the exact opposite of what was the last thing I played. I like things that frighten me. I like doing things I don’t believe I can do and sometimes I can’t do them and they don’t turn out well, and sometimes they do connect and that’s always good, that’s always such a relief.”
