Angelina Jolie In Hanoi For Visa

According to the most recent AP reports, Angelina Jolie arrived in Hanoi today to finalize the adoption process and bring her newly adopted son, Pax Thien Jolie, to his new home in the USA.

“The 31-year-old actress dodged reporters on her way from the airport after flying from Ho Chi Minh City,” ABC News reported. Ho Chi Minh City is where Angelina went to pick up the newest member of her family, at an orphanage on the outskirts of the city last week.

From this point, “Jolie is expected to meet with U.S. Embassy officials Tuesday to apply for a visa for 3-year-old Pax. Once the visa is issued, she can take him to the United States. She is expected to leave Hanoi on Wednesday.”

Angelina’s oldest child, Maddox, came with her to Vietnam, while her two daughters, Zahara and Shiloh, stayed home with live-in boyfriend, Brad Pitt.

This is Angelina’s third adoption. The actress told a Vietnamese newspaper that ever since she was young she has wanted to adopt children.

“Everyone would agree that children need to have a family,” the paper quoted Jolie as saying. “I have the ability to help children fulfill that desire. Why should I say no?”
