Angelina Jolie Denies Edwards Endorsement
With the Presidential Elections approaching next year, the political climate in Hollywood is starting to heat up. But don’t count Angelina Jolie as a John Edwards supporter just yet, she says.
The “A Mighty Heart” actress says she hasn’t declared as of yet that she is supporting anyone in particular in their bid for the Oval Office. Hence, reports that she’s on the John Edwards support bandwagon are false.
The Girl Interrupted star told press, “There are many false stories that circulate about me, but the one I feel I need to address, because it is about such an important topic, is that I have not decided to endorse John Edwards, or any other presidential candidate.”
Ang said that it’s too early for her to make a decision as to whom she’s getting behind. “Like many Americans, I am learning more about the candidates’ records and positions but at this time I have not yet made an endorsement.”
