Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Visit Lower Ninth Ward
Leaving most of their brood back home, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were spotted out and about with sons Pax, 4, and Maddox, 7, on Tuesday (October 7).
The “Mr and Mrs Smith” co-star couple were paying a visit to the Lower Ninth Ward Housing project in New Orleans - making sure that everything’s going according to plan.
As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Brad shared some positive news on Monday - announcing that his Make It Right Foundation has raised enough money to build 90 homes (6 more than expected as of late August) as part of the Hurricane Katrina rebuilding effort.
When asked whether the New Orleans project was his top priority, Pitt explained that his family comes first, adding that the “love of my family brings me here.”

Why is it all about the ninth ward. i live on the westbank of new orleans and many people lost everything there, for myself, i am speaking of. I grew up in new orleans and moved to the west bank because around new orleans was getting so bad with crimes. Now crimes are all over. But what about helping the people on the westbank who are strugling also. It’s not all about the ninth ward. what about us. i am glad they are helping but help the ones who take care of there things and work and try and make a living. Not saying ninth ward doesnt but i lived there almost all my life. i know what gones on in different areas in new orleans, and like i said why arent any white people getting help. I am not racise but no white people get the help they giving the ninth ward. i lost everything i owned and worked for after katrina and now i am replacing things i lost again from Gustva when i am still trying to finish up from katrina.
Feel hurt, very hurt, Helping just the ninth ward.
