Angelina Jolie Adoption Update

In what could be the beginning of a “nest egg” for the newest member of the Jolie-Pitt clan, Angelina Jolie is rumored to be receiving a whopping $2 million for photos of her newly adopted son, Pax Thien.

According to Radar magazine, among others, Angelina has agreed to sell pictures of her new son to People magazine for between $1.75 million and $2 million.

These rumors have not gone unchallenged, as a People spokesperson has described that figure as “absurd,” but the rumors continue. The spokesperson added, “We don’t comment on the specifics on any negotiations,” fueling speculation that the number may indeed be accurate.

Also supporting the $2 million figure is the fact that Brad and Angelina commanded an astounding $4.1 million for photographs with their biological daughter, Shiloh, just after she was born.

Along with the People deal, intimate pictures of Angelina and Pax are now on the front cover of Hello magazine’s latest issue. Hello was given exclusive rights to the family photo album for overseas publication.

Speaking about her new son, Angela told Hello magazine: “He is a very serious, very sweet little boy. We are slowly beginning to build his trust and bond but it will feel complete only when we are all a family.”

“You can imagine what courage it takes to be in all new surroundings with new people and a new language. He is very strong.” She added: “It will take him a while to realize he has a family; that his new life is permanent and it won’t keep changing.”

Yesterday afternoon, Angelina, Pax, Maddox and Zahara left Vietnam for their home in the states. Contrary to numerous reports, Shiloh stayed home with Papa Pitt, awaiting the arrival of her new big brother.
