An Owen Wilson, Kate Hudson Romance?

Film stars Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson are on couple alert status, even though the two have denied these rumors.

The ‘You, Me and Dupree’ co-stars were spotted at the Gold Coast’s Palazzo Versace hotel in Australia over Valentine’s Day weekend.

According to Life Style Extra, the two were seen riding bicycles in Southport and attended a pre-screening of Kate’s film ‘Fool’s Gold’ at the Pacific Fair cinema. Kate is currently staying ‘Down Under’, filming the movie with Matthew McConaughey, who reportedly is a good pal of Owen Wilson’s.

A source told Australia’s Daily Telegraph newspaper: “They (Hudson and Wilson) walked hand-in-hand to the back door of the cinema but leapt apart and headed for separate doors when they realized a photographer was present.”

The insiders continued by describing the scene once the stars made their way to their seats.

“They were cozy - they chose seats together - and seemed relaxed although slightly nervous, probably because they were in public together,” People magazine quoted an onlooker as saying.

“Once the lights dimmed, they chilled out a bit more,” added the witness.

The supposed “chilled-out” state only lasted as long as the movie did.

While leaving the cinema, the AP report noted that Owen allegedly pushed a photographer twice to avoid having his picture taken.

One fan, Jemima O’Neill, said: “We were going to ask him for a photograph but when we saw him trying to ram the photographer we were too scared. We had been waiting for nearly two hours, but he was so angry we thought there is no way we are going to ask him for a photograph.”

For Kate, dating is new. The actress filed for divorce from her rock star husband Chris Robinson last August. The couple have a three-year-old son, Ryder.
