Amy Winehouse’s Island Fitness
Continuing her seemingly-never-ending holiday in St. Lucia, Amy Winehouse was spotted doing some yoga and gymnastics as part of an hour-long workout yesterday (January 13).
The troubled “Rehab” singer looked intense as she took a lesson on gymnastic rings, showing her athletic side with the help of a coach after hitting the mats for a little stretching.
And while her newfound health and wellness routine seems to be keeping her out of trouble by day, it’s a different story as evening approaches. According to guests at the posh Le Sport Spa, Miss Winehouse gets a little nutty as the sun goes down.
A source told press, “We keep catching her crawling past bars, or hiding behind chairs. She grabs guests’ drinks and runs off, like a squirrel with a nut.”
Another witness revealed, “She’s like a child craving attention. It’s embarrassing. She comes in for dinner barefoot and in her bikini, even though the dress code is smart casual. Then she will go and sit on her balcony topless playing the guitar when everyone is trying to sleep.”
In related news, Winehouse has been offered her first movie role if she can clean up her act. An insider told press, “The movie is a bit like Michelle Pfeiffer’s film Dangerous Minds. Playing a music teacher will allow Amy to use her singing skills. She has been offered an acting coach called Matt Ryan from the Royal Academy of Music Theatre Department in London.
The source added, “But she needs to improve her health and state of mind, or the opportunity will be withdrawn. You can’t have a teacher looking like a scrawny crack addict. It’s hoped the offer will be an incentive for her.”
