Amy Winehouse’s Assault Charges
Though she looks decidedly healthier as a result of her extended vacation in St. Lucia, Amy Winehouse still hasn’t shaken her tendency for drama. And now she’s being charged with assault.
Back in September, Amy was involved in an altercation at the End of Summer Ball in London’s Berkeley Square, and she’s been summoned to court for a hearing at the end of this month.
A London Police source told press, “The singer has been charged. She will appear on bail at City of Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday 17th March charged with common assault. It is connection with an incident in Berkeley Square on the 26th September 2008.”
Despite her legal woes, Miss Winehouse was spotted living it up and jumping all over Nick Grimshaw at the Ray Ban Colorize launch over at Selfridges last night (March 5).
