Amy Winehouse: No-Show at Blake’s Trial
As a shock to the awaiting paparazzi outside a London courthouse, Amy Winehouse didn’t show up for her husband Blake Fielder-Civil’s arraignment earlier today.
Adding insult to injury, Blake’s mom, Georgette wasn’t there either. What’s going on? Reportedly Fielder-Civil pled ‘not guilty’ to charges stemming from a pub brawl.
During the course of the two-hour proceedings, Blake pled not guilty to conspiring to pervert the course of justice, a charge originating from accusations that he caused grievous bodily harm to a pub landlord back in June of 2006.
As for the “Rehab” singer, she’s been moving into a new apartment, though she’s reportedly not doing very well. According to a friend, “She’s a mess at the moment. I don’t think she’s visiting him much either.”
