Amy Winehouse Mixes Booze with Babysitting
She’s been busy recording the new James Bond theme song with producer/pal Mark Ronson, but earlier today Amy Winehouse took a break to hang with some friends.
And apparently one of the “Rehab” singer’s gal pals felt safe enough to let her handle her baby. In true Wine-O style, Amy clutched the small child while downing a shot of liquor.
It may be antics like these that helped get Amy kicked off the schedule for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute Gala, coming up on May 5th.
According to an inside source, “She has been told that she is no longer part of the program. It will be a huge blow for her as it would have been a great platform to break America. They love her music over there but she has yet to do a tour.”
And an event spokesperson confirmed the report, saying, “She was asked if she would be interested, and she was considered, but then we moved on from her.”
